Fbkid's Week 17 Predictions

Last week was an ok week as I went 9-7 on my picks. As the regular season comes to a close, the games get tougher to predict as teams like the Titans and Giants who have already clinched the number one seed and homefield advantage, have nothing to play for. Some teams though are still going to be giving it their all this week though as divisions like the AFC East and NFC South haven't been clinched yet. Here are my week 17 picks.

Game of the weak: Chiefs vs Bengals: Both of these teams have been playing better over the last few weeks but come April, both could end up having top 5 picks.

Game of the week: Dolphins vs Jets: Only a few weeks ago experts were already talking about the possibilites of a "Subway Superbowl" between the Jets and the Giants. Considering that both teams actually play in New Jersey and the Jets inability to beat bad teams on the road, it doesn't look like it's going to happen. The Dolphins are now the toast of the league going from a 1-15 record a year ago to contending for a division title. This game should have lots of drama (The Brett Favre last game card)and should come down to the wire. If the Jets lose, we get to see how much the New York media and fans really "love" Favre.

Fbkid's Week 16 Predictions

Last week wasn't that great as I only went 8-8 on my picks. This is going to be a great week of football though as home field advantage for both the AFC and NFC will be determined by the outcome of two games. The Steelers Titans game should be won in the trenches and will be a battle of field position and the Panthers Giants game will be determined by which team can stop the run. Here are my week 16 picks.

Game of the weak: Bengals vs Browns: The starting quarterbacks for this game are Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ken Dorsey. Enough said.

Game of the week: Three way tie between Ravens vs Cowboys, Steelers vs Titans and Panthers vs Giants: All three of these games should go down to the wire and all have major playoff implications. This should make for one of the best weekends of regular season football in a long time.

Last Week: 8-8
Season: 135-89-1

Ravens 14 Cowboys 21
Bengals 24 Browns 17
Saints 31 Lions 20
Cardinals 16 Patriots 28

Dolphins 28 Chiefs 16
Chargers 17 Bucs 23
Bills 17 Broncos 27
Jets 20 Seahawks 23

Fbkid's Jaguars vs Colts Prediction

Usually I make all my picks at once but due to a busy schedule I'm just making my pick for the game tonight. My full picks will be posted tommorow afternoon.

The Colts have something to play for tonight and even though it will be an emotional game for the Jaguars, I think the Colts are too focused and pull it out.

Colts 28 Jaguars 14

Fbkid's Week 15 Predictions

Last week was a very good one for my picks as I went 13-3. The playoff picture is finally shaping up. Team's like the Titans, Giants and Cardinals have already clinched their divisions and the Titans even clinched a first round bye. The most interesting thing to watch will be how the AFC East and NFC South end up. Both of those divisions are extremely competitive and at most three teams can get in. Here are my week 15 predictions.

Game of the weak: Seahawks vs Rams: Heading into the year the Seahawks were one of the elite teams in the NFC and the Rams were going to push for a playoff spot. Now they are playing to avoid a top 5 pick.

Game of the week: Steelers vs Ravens: If you like "Smashmouth" football at it's best, then this game is for you. The winner controls their own destiny in the AFC North and I still don't understand why this game isn't on Sunday Night Football. The fans get to see the best game of the day and John Madden gets to gush about how great Hines Ward is. It's a win-win for everyone.

Last week: 13-3
Season: 127-81-1

Saints 20 Bears 24
Bucs 21 Falcons 26
Redskins 24 Bengals 10
Titans 23 Texans 17
Packers 28 Jaguars 17
49ers 14 Dolphins 23
Seahawks 17 Rams 24
Bills 13 Jets 27
Chargers 23 Chiefs 27
Lions 10 Colts 35
Vikings 17 Cardinals 31
Steelers 16 Ravens 20
Broncos 21 Panthers 26

Giants 27 Cowboys 17
Browns 7 Eagles 28

Fbkid's Week 14 Predictions

Last week was another good one as I went 11-5 on my picks. As the playoff picture is starting to shape up, so are the biggest disappointments this year. Both the Jaguars and Chargers came into the year as teams that should contend for the Super Bowl. The Jaguars are now in position to finish in last place in the AFC South and the Chargers could fall into 3rd place if they lose to the Raiders tonight. Here are my week 14 picks.

Game of the weak: Raiders vs Chargers: I'm sure the NFL had different things in mind when scheduling this game but the realization now is that even though it's a rivalry game, it's two teams with below .500 records.

Game of the week: Bucs vs Panthers: This game will be very physical and should come down to the wire. The winner also controls their own destiny in the most underrated division in football, the NFC South.

Last week: 11-5
Season: 114-78-1

Raiders 14 Chargers 24
Jaguars 17 Bears 27
Vikings 31 Lions 14
Bengals 10 Colts 27
Eagles 17 Giants 26
Browns 7 Titans 24
Falcons 26 Saints 23
Texans 14 Packers 21
Dolphins 24 Bills 17
Jets 20 49ers 24
Patriots 30 Seahawks 17
Chiefs 21 Broncos 28
Rams 14 Cardinals 35
Cowboys 17 Steelers 21
Redskins 13 Ravens 24
Bucs 14 Panthers 20
